Kurzbeschreibung

Though chili oil is available in nearly every Asian supermarket, I love the flexibility of making my own. I keep a variety of clean recycled jars on-hand (here an old mustard jar that I scrubbed the label off of) for whenever I want a batch of chili oil for rice, noodles, avocado toast, or even ice cream. This mix gets stored in the fridge and when I run out I clean the jar and just make another batch!

Zutaten

Including but not limited to: neutral oil, Chinese chili flakes, gochugaru, Sichuan peppercorns, garlic, ginger, bay leaves, star anise, cloves, soy sauce, sugar, sesame seeds, black vinegar, salt/MSG.
